Applyably and edificatyfly, to every mery and iocounde mater, of late trāslated out of latyn into our Englysshe tonge right profitable to the gouernaunce of man." Fragments include sig. H1r-v (p. 15r-v), the end of "Of the Locke and the kaye" and the beginning of "Of the Cawdron and the Chayne / Dialogo xxiiii"; and sig. G4r-v (p. 16r-v), a fragment of "Of the Locke and the kaye. / Dialogo xxiii"; these items are misbound. This item is not a ballad, but is archived in EBBA because it is included in the important Bagford collection of ballads. |
