                     <l n="111" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">I am clear of the guiltless blood</hi></l>

                     <l n="113" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Are you such fools, <hi rend="bold">quoth Daniel</hi> then?</hi></l>
                     <l n="114" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">in Judgment you have not done well;</hi></l>
                     <l n="115" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Nor yet the right way have you gone,</hi></l>
                     <l n="116" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">to judge the Daughter of <hi rend="bold">Israel;</hi></hi></l>
                     <l n="117" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">By this witness of false disdain,</hi></l>
                     <l n="118" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     Lady, lady.</hi></l>
                     <l n="119" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Wherefore to Judgment they were set,</hi></l>
                     <l n="120" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     for that Lady.</hi></l>

                     <l n="127" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">He said under a Mulberry tree,</hi></l>

                     <l n="129" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Thou lyest (said <hi rend="bold">Daniel)</hi> on thy head,</hi></l>
                     <l n="130" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">thy sentence is before the Lord,</hi></l>
                     <l n="131" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">He bad that forth he might be led,</hi></l>
                     <l n="132" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">and bring the other that bear Record</hi></l>
                     <l n="133" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">To see how they two did agree,</hi></l>
                     <l n="134" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     Lady, lady.</hi></l>
                     <l n="135" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">He said under a Pomegranate Tree,</hi></l>
                     <l n="136" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     who lyed falsly.</hi></l>

                     <l n="139" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Stands waiting at the Door,</hi></l>
                     <l n="140" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">even to cut thee with a Sword:</hi></l>
                     <l n="141" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">And even with that the multitude</hi></l>
                     <l n="142" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     aloud did cry.</hi></l>
                     <l n="143" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Give thanks to God and to conclude,</hi></l>
                     <l n="144" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     for this Lady.</hi></l>

                     <l n="145" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">They dealt like with these wicked men,</hi></l>
                     <l n="146" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">according as the Scripture saith,</hi></l>
                     <l n="147" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">They did as with their Neighbour then,</hi></l>
                     <l n="148" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">by Moses Law were put to death;</hi></l>
                     <l n="149" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">She innocent preserved was,</hi></l>
                     <l n="150" rend="indent"><hi rend="italic">     Lady, lady.</hi></l>
                     <l n="151" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">As God by <hi rend="bold">Daniel</hi> brought to pass,</hi></l>
