                     <l n="3" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Opposing Christ, did with Consent prepare</hi></l>
                     <l n="4" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">A Law to trap him, and his life ensnare:</hi></l>
                     <l n="5" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Upon the Trial, he doth make demand,</hi></l>
                     <l n="6" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">What Precept he hath broke, or just Command?</hi></l>
                     <l n="7" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">For want of Crime, the <hi rend="bold">Jews</hi> make this Reply,</hi></l>
                     <l n="8" rend="left"><hi rend="italic"><hi rend="bold">We have a Law, and by it thou shalt die:</hi></hi></l>
                     <l n="9" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">A cursed Sentence, and to be abhord,</hi></l>

                     <l n="14" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Nor swagd their Malice, tho he on the Cross,</hi></l>

                     <l n="23" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">The <hi rend="bold">Massachusetts</hi> is alike for Crime,</hi></l>
                     <l n="24" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Unto <hi rend="bold">Judea,</hi> in Christ Jesus Time:</hi></l>
                     <l n="25" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Here Laws are extant, that doth terrify</hi></l>
                     <l n="26" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Well meaning Men, and Liberty deny</hi></l>
                     <l n="27" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">In serving God, except in their own way,</hi></l>
                     <l n="28" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">In their own Method, and on their made Day.</hi></l>
                     <l n="29" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Here Innocents are fined, whipt, and branded,</hi></l>
                     <l n="30" rend="left"><hi rend="italic">Ears cropt, some sold for Slaves, some slasht, some hanged;</hi></l>
