                     <l n="57" rend="left">When as our Saviour Christ heard this,</l>
                     <l n="58" rend="indent">with heavenly Angels bright;</l>
                     <l n="59" rend="left">He comes unto this sinfull Soule,</l>
                     <l n="60" rend="indent">who trembled at his sight.</l>

                     <l n="61" rend="left">Of him for mercy, she did crave,</l>
                     <l n="62" rend="indent">quoth he, thou hast refusd;</l>
                     <l n="63" rend="left">My proffer, Grace and mercy both,</l>

                     <l n="65" rend="left">Sore have I sinned, Oh Lord, said she,</l>
                     <l n="66" rend="indent">and spent my time in vaine:</l>
                     <l n="67" rend="left">But bring me like a wandring Sheepe,</l>

                     <l n="70" rend="indent">my former wicked vice:</l>
                     <l n="71" rend="left">The Thiefe at these poore silly words,</l>
                     <l n="72" rend="indent">past into Paradice.</l>

                     <l n="73" rend="left">My Laws and my Commandements,</l>
                     <l n="74" rend="indent">saith Christ, were knowne to thee:</l>
                     <l n="75" rend="left">But of the same in any wise,</l>
                     <l n="76" rend="indent">not yet one word did yee.</l>

                     <l n="77" rend="left">I grant the same, Oh Lord (quoth she)</l>
                     <l n="78" rend="indent">most lewdly did I live:</l>
