For happiness I long have sought, And pleasures dearly have I bought; I missd of all, but now I see, Tis found in Christ the Apple-tree. IV. Im wearyd with my former toil, But here Ill sit and rest a-while, Under the shadow I would be, Of Jesus Christ the Apple-tree. V. With great delight Ill make my stay, Theres none shall fright my soul away, Among the sons of Men I see, Theres none like Christ the Apple-tree. VI.
