Maurice. Elizabeth. ELIZABETH, Regina}. The cut depicts a queen, labeled ELIZABETH Regina (presumably of Bohemia), and three children (labeled Ludouica Hollandina. Maurice. Elizabeth). The queen faces to the left of the cut, towards the children who stand to her right. She is smiling, her hair is pulled back under an elaborate crown. She wears a layered ruff and a patterned dress, cuffs and cloak. She holds a feather fan in her left hand, and an unclear object in her right hand. Next to her, the oldest child, Elizabeth, is a young girl. She also smiles and faces to the left of the cut, mirroring Elizabeth Regina. Her hair is pulled back and decorated with a plume or feather. She holds a fan in her right hand and pulls a piece of fabric or hankerchief out of a pocket with her left hand. She wears a heavily decorated dress with a stiff collar. The next child, Maurice, has short curled hair or wears a child's bonnet. He faces Elizabeth and Elizabeth Regina, toward the right of the cut. He wears a small ruff and a fancy dress with a coat and open skirt with decorated underskirt. The final child, furthest to the left of the cut, is a standing infant or todler, Ludouica Hollandina. Her face is framed by a pointed bonnet, and she wears a long dress with an apron and scarf or cloak. She faces forward. Behind these characters in the background are buildings: a church, a windmill, a house, some towers. An angel flies above them in the upper left of the cut/: 12 x 4</note>
